My first semester at Boulder was a dream. I learned so many lessons, made so many sweet connections with people, and overall just had the time of my life. I no doubt decided to capture all these moments on film. Here is a little collection of some of my absolute favorites, little nostalgic tidbits of my first semester as a college kid.

My first semester as a college student has officially come to a close, and as I reflect I'm filled with gratitude. I came to the University of Colorado Boulder as an out of state kid knowing relatively no one on campus, and not knowing at all what to expect out of my experience here. Now as I look back at all the sweet details of my semester here I can't help but feel so content. It was four months filled with lessons, growth and maturity, sweet memories, and sweeter friends.
If you're one of my Atlanta readers, you know that we don't quite get seasons in Georgia. Some hot and some cold with no real rhyme or reason, and only ever hints of fall colors. Moving to Colorado has brought a lot of sweet things my way, but as the days grow colder and the trees turn different hues, I can't help but freak out a little. This southern girl is transitioning into her first real autumn, and furthermore, one in all of it's mountainy glory.
Mid August I packed up my bags and made my way to my favorite place in the entire world, Boulder Colorado. Leaving my hot city scape hometown of Atlanta, I sought out the Flatirons and roaming blue skies, where I had always felt the most at home. I swear I get a happiness high every time I land in Colorado, and this time it was especially heightened. I would get to stay here for my freshman year at the University of Colorado Boulder.
There's something so dreamy about photos on film. Nostalgic prints of sweet small moments that you revisit later on, like beach days and birthdays and soirees. This summer has definitely been a captivating one, filled with last moments in my home town before I head off to a new place and lots of squeezed in time with friends. I bought a couple of disposables to track this summer on and they make me so happy, so I thought I would give you a little film recap of summer 2020.
