I'm a big fan of podcasts and listen to them often. My favorite routine is listening on a long walk or run, or while I'm in the kitchen cooking. Recently I've been on an even stronger podcast kick. and wanted to make a little post to inspire your podcast listening. Here are some of my all time favorites, as well as recent additions to my lineup.

When Taylor Swift released Folklore, I got butterflies. An acoustic, bare bones, and song writing heavy album; in simple terms, a dream. Folklore was the background soundtrack playing throughout such a pivotal time in my life, as I left Atlanta and began college. I was fully satisfied with this single album, still playing the songs on repeat, so many of which now intertwined with my college experiences. Then, out of nowhere, Swift announced that she would be releasing a Folklore sister album, Evermore. Once again, it surpassed my expectations. These two albums are absolute gems. To appease my obsession, I wanted to write a blog post to give these albums the credit they deserve.
Freshman year of college is for getting to know new faces, new routines, a brand new location. And for me luckily, it's been about getting to know some new music. Along with all the new people and new things, there's always a background track; someone playing music on a speaker, songs getting stuck in your head, or relating to common music obsessions in conversation. My first semester at Boulder has brought up some new music in my repertoire, so I thought I would share some songs that I've downloaded or resurfaced during my time here so far.
Ah, summertime. Sunshine, lake days, huge tee shirts, and of course ditching hot coffee for iced lattes. Among all the festivities of summer, I've built a pretty expansive playlist, for all those summery, windows down moments. Here's a compilation of some of those songs I've been jamming to so far this summer. Hopefully a couple of them weave their way into your sunny playlists. :)
I love the moments where new music gets added into my library- riding in the car with family and hearing an artist I instantly love, getting a text saying "you've gotta listen to this song", or sharing a headphone with a friend. There's something so sweet about music and the way it brings people together in the seemingly small moments like that. It might just be me, but seeing my music library fill up with colors and album covers just makes my heart so happy. This blog post is simply me giving you one of my headphones, a collective, all together random, and somewhat massive list of songs I can't quit listening to.
