I was never that girl who could just plop down, flip through her notes and ace the quiz the next day. Finding motivation to study was one mountain to climb, and then actually figuring out how I best study was another. Studying is a skill I've had to to learn throughout high school (and a skill that I'm still learning). I'm by no means a pro, but I have found a few tips and methods that have come to work well for me. These little things have made tests less stressful and grades more manageable for me personally, so I thought I would share them with you!
Today was Easter Sunday, the day that Christians celebrate the holy and victorious resurrection of Christ. It's a giant celebration and a defining one. It's the day where we get to reflect on the meaning of the cross, and on the earth trembling power of Jesus' resurrection. It is a day of joy, of rebirth and forgiveness, of life.
I had grown up hearing the story as a child, attending church on Easter Sunday in a daffodil yellow dress, my mind most likely drifting to thoughts about brightly colored candies from the Easter bunny. But then, as I grew, my faith grew along with me, and the Easter story rattled me to my core. Awe evoking and praise inducing wonder. A story of life that conquers death. A story of victory above all victories.
My spring break was happily spent at New Smyrna Beach with my two best friends. It was such a fun trip and we made so many great memories. We left excited and in need of a break, and returned sun kissed, refreshed, and deeply joyful. It was a trip for the books.
New Smyrna Beach is a little hidden treasure on Florida's coast, and I have been going there for as long as I can remember. My friends and I had this trip to the beach in mind, and I offered up New Smyrna. There's few things sweeter than introducing people you love to places you love, and I was happy to introduce them to the beach I know the nooks and crannies of. The trip came into being, and we spent many sleepovers and coffee runs planning and dreaming about it. The week before break, we were buzzing with anticipation, ready for vitamin D and salty air.
March was such an eventful & fun month! Time with friends, time with family, early mornings & late nights. It was one for the books! Here's your photo gallery & month recap, as promised! :)
I'm usually not super into pop music, but I've found a few albums that I've been really liking lately, and I also have a few staple pop albums that I could listen to on repeat. They're chill, which I love & definitely the type of songs you want to listen to on long drives. I hope you dig them like I do! :)
